01 / MATERIALS
Every Collection 001 sample begins with the fabric ground: its weight, hand, wash, and how it holds a printed mark after repeated wear. The Salt ground is selected for its dry, broken-in surface and the way a dark carmine mark remains legible without a glossy finish.
We record the blank style, supplier colour, size range, and decoration method before a piece is offered. That record is part of the product, not hidden production trivia.
02 / EDITIONS
The Forty is a study in repetition with variation. The C. mark stays fixed below the collar; the selected law changes the back. Numbering gives each edition a place in the sequence while keeping the garment readable as a daily object.
We publish the selector so a customer can see the exact statement before choosing a size. No hidden variation, mystery wording, or invented customer proof is needed.
03 / PROCESS
Collection 001 is released in stages. A garment remains in sampling until fit, placement, wash, and fulfilment details are checked. The public page labels what is live, what is in sampling, and what is still a target.
This journal is an open production log: original observations, clear status, and enough context for a reader to decide whether the object belongs in their wardrobe.
